My 3 goals as a teacher are:

* to provide a basic introduction to playing guitar - tuning, strumming, picking techniques and chords

* to encourage songwriting and improvization

* to teach a simple overview of recording software such as Garageband - e.g tracking guitar and vocals, creating beats,
and mixing to mp3 or CD.

30-minute/1 hour one-on-one lessons in your home.

For Parents: I teach kids ages 2 and up, mixing in traditional
children's songs with rock (Joan Jett, Ramones, Jet). My lessons are fun, interactive and rooted in the dynamics of music - e.g. loud/soft, light/hard strumming, playing to a beat, and introducing new
instruments and sounds.

Most important, I believe music should be fun. Playing guitar and
writing music has always been a creative release for me and I
look forward to sharing that with you.
